Is there a version of LapTimer that records lean angle?

Post by KSmith »

Hello,

I am looking to buy one of the suite, but I have a question I cannot quite find a clear answer to (forgive me if it's been asked/answered I've never used a forum before). Do, if any, of the ios versions record the lean angle?

Thank you very Much

Hello,

All LapTimer editions record the lean angle if a motorbike is selected as vehicle. There is a special motorbike mounting orientation shown in LapTimer's Quick Reference.

Hi Harry, I’m also going to buy one of the packages to use together with an insta360 ace pro and an iPhone 15 pro max, can you add the lean angle data to the videos with all the packages or is the rookie version just data and no video overlay ?
And Will my screen need to be left open on the app to record all the data ? The insta360 app has telemetry stats already but there is no lean angle and the accelerometer and speedometer has quite a delay on a motorcycle.
Thanks in advance

LapTimer needs to be active to record data. Once sent to background, it will disconnect all sensors and sleep.
Rookie is data only, Petrolhead added video recording and overlaying support. Lean angles are supported by all LapTimer editions.
