Two phones at once

Post by Squelch »

Harry,

I looked through search and didn't see anything about my question. My inquiry may not even be for your product as much as it would be for Dashware or OBDLink, but you've always been very helpful when I've asked questions.

I have two iPhones, an old 3GS that I used with your laptimer last season, and a new 4S. I want to use the 4S to take video, but use the 3GS with the Emprum UltiMate and the OBDLink Wifi. The battery on the 3GS is old and won't hold a charge, so I have it hooked to the bike's electrical system.

Can I link the video that I take on the 4S with the data that I get from the 3GS? I also have a Contour Camera and a couple of other cameras that I might add too.

Anyway, like I said this might be more a question for Dashware (I haven't installed it yet but it looks promising). Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Yes, that will work. The only downside of the approach is you will need to sync video and data by yourself (using either Dashware or in LapTimer in case you want to to the overlay here using LT).

Ok, thanks Harry! I'll probably buy DashWare, but first I want to see how much video and data I get out of three track days this weekend to see if it's worth it to shell out $50 to put it all into a consolidated video. I appreciate the help!
