Accelerometer question - street mode vs. track mode

In the upper left hand corner of the accelerometer view, sometimes it says track mode, sometimes it says street mode. Is there a difference? I couldn't find anything about it or a setting. it is switchable?

Downloaded 15 last night. Going to track day tomorrow and will test it out with my Dual XGPS at 5hz and a kiwi wifi. Can't wait!

Hi,

LapTimer switches between Street and Track mode automatically. It is simply about the scale of the circles shown - check the gray circle including the 0.5 or 1.0g legend As soon as acceleration values exceeds a certain value (0.5g or so), LT switches from Street to Track mode.

got it - makes sense. I had seen the scale switch also, but hadn't put 2 + 2 together yet.
