Obd update rate error

Post by Nikonchris »

I've been searching for this issue for ages and can't find a solution
I have '06 Porsche booster s
Ebay Bluetooth obd adapter
Samsung galaxy s7 edge
Latest version of HLT

I can connect to the adapter ok but I get a warning about obd update rate. "The obd sensor does not deceive data at the expected rate"
No engine data displayed at all !

The adapter works fine with the torque app

What am I doing wrong ?

First of all, make sure you kill Torque when using LapTimer. OBD adapters are exclusive resources and must not be accessed by multiple clients at a time.

In case this doesn't help, please follow instructions in the "Debugging OBD Connections" FAQ here on the forum.

NB: a '06 Boxster will probably not feature a CAN bus. So please do not expect a rate higher than 2 Hz.
