Warning Message every time I export - expected behaviour?

Post by harrysDavid »

I added some accessories to the latest version of Harry's Grand Prix (v 20.2) before my track day yesterday. Specifically, the DUAL XGPS 160 (SKY PRO) and the GOPOINT BT1/BT1A.

I got a warning message ...

... about needing to configure both engine and powertrain settings when I go to export/render, however I believe it to be fully configured and setup (screenshot attached - only 1 because of the limit of the number of attachments, but everything is filled out and to the best of my knowledge filled out correctly.)

NOTE: I configured it AFTER the session yesterday, as I didn't know I needed to configure it until I tried to export. I am always attaching a screenshot of the export with OBD II set to "Expanded" so you can tell me if it looks how it should? (Screenshot attached.)

Did this need to be configured before the session? If so, then I'd like to suggest that you get this Warning the moment Harry's understand you to be use an OBD II sensor. Previous to the session, the "car info" was very lightly configured. At the track, I wasn't trying to export anything, so I wasn't aware that I needed "more" information applied to the car.

Finally, in case it's helpful, to get the information about the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 I was driving, I first did the "look up" and then filled out the gearing information which wasn't included after I "copied to car."

Thank you for taking the time to read and any input you have if I should ignore the warning or need to make corrections. I just can't find anything else to fill out about the engine and powertrain settings so don't know what the problem is.

There are open entries in your vehicle configuration. See "please set". These are the rpm levels the power / torque is developed at. You see this values are missing by having a look into the overlay too. The rpm sections (red / green sectors) are wrong. You can set these values and export again.
