I'm trying to follow the procedure in the FAQ's to copy the track I had created in my neighborhood on my old ipad mini to my new device, but I wonder if the software has changed since these instructions were created:
User track sets are bit more complicated: for track sets defined e.g. by using the New Autocross assistant, navigate to Lap List first. Scroll to the section showing the laps recorded for the user track set. Select the first row in this section (User Track Set). Scroll to the bottom of the list of POIs and press Certify for iOS, or select the Certify action from Android's options menu. Generate the mail usually sent to us for track set certification. Change the "to" address to your own email address and remove Tracks@gps-laptimer.de. Keep the mail as the backup. To restore it later, touch the .hpoil/.hpoiz attachment from your mail app. This will reinstall the user track set.
I copied a lap that I had recorded on the old device, to the new device. I then selected this lap (I assume that's what is meant by, " Scroll to the section showing the laps recorded for the user track set. Select the first row in this section (User Track Set)." But I don't see a list of POI's anywhere in this lap. Am I looking in the wrong place? Please advise. Thanks.

No, that's up to date. But you certainly need to have access to the track set... The Track Set is not included in lap exports, it is exported using the Certify approach described.

Well, your instructions couldn't have been more clear - I don't know how I managed to misinterpret them. My user-defined track is now on my new ipad, so everything should be ready to go on the new device. I'll do a practice run today. Thanks very much.
