I'm new to the LapTimer, have the GrandPrix edition, version 20.08, a GoPoint BT1 and Hero4 camera.
I have an iPhone 6 Plus with plenty of storage space left (more than 50GB).
Had previously used this February on Guapore circuit with no issues, but didn't have the BT1 by then.
This Saturday I went to a trackway on Velopark circuit (downloaded in LapTimer) and recorded the first session without the camera as I was just starting to get to know the circuit. Next session, about an hour later or so, the app would always break when I started to race, this time camera was on also. Didn't know what to do by then, and I couldn't monitor the best part of the track day.
Files from the app are zipped here:

I tried copying the recovery DB and I get the first 10 laps, but tried to export them and it broke the app again, so I zeroed it out.
One thing I noticed is that the cell signal was only 3G and very week for the most part of the circuit, but I didn't think that should impact recording on the device.
The app should have a way to fix itself and be able to record again, I was expecting more reliability.
Thanks.

Hi,
Which status is exactly included in the files attached? Is this the status - when exported - crashed LapTimer?

Re: Stopped working after the first session recording with OBD + Hero cam
Hi Harry, sorry for the delay, I need to setup to receive proper notifications from the forum.
Those files are all the content I downloaded from LapTimer's directory on my iPhone after the trackday, in which I couldn't record the laps.
I don't quite understand the format but there should be logs there, I believe that for some reason data is corrupted when recording laps with GoPoint BT1, I tried again recording another trackday on Autodromo Tarumã with GoPoint BT1, but it crashed the same. By reading other forums, I decided to erase the app and download it again. Removing the OBD from my vehicle it worked fine and recorded session laps and times.
This was before the latest update from App Store, I still need to try with that one.
This time, 4G was available during the entire session, so it should not be related to network speed.
Thanks!

Neither non availability of a mobile connection, nor an OBD adapter connected will generate crashes. Database corruption however may occur for various technical reasons.
