startup proceedure

Post by Dustcap. »

Hi Harry. On my first occasion using the app (last weekend) at Donington I found the experience a little tedious.

Let me explain my procedure as I saw the only was of working the app.

Before each session I would have to go to 'prepare race' where I would have to load the track manually as it didn't recognise my position from gps and load the track automatically.

then I would have to hit drive and put the phone in my pocket (using bt GPOS receiver as I am on a bike)..

Is this the nor for the app or was I doing something wrong?

Many thanks
Colin

It is a common misunderstanding the track needs to be loaded multiple times. You load it once (e.g. at home) and forget about it. The track definition is stored locally. You can load up to 15 tracks like this. LapTimer will switch to the track automatically once you pass one of its triggers.
