Aspect ratio of PIP overlay videos is incorrect

Post by Paulxab »

When I produce overlay videos with the Grand Prix Edition on my iPhone 4S, the aspect ratio of the PIP video is incorrect. It appears stretched out vertically. The source videos I’m using are GoPro 1920×1080 video for the main image and iPhone 4S 1280×720 for the insert overlay.

Is there an overlay setting I need to use so that the video compositing process respects the original aspect ratio of the inset video?

Here are links to two videos that exhibit the problem:

Yes, this one will be fixed in v20 too. LapTimer will use a uniform height and have the width adjusted depending on the PiP's aspect ratio.

Thanks for the answer and the news that this will be fixed in v20. In the mean time, with v19, am I right to assume that there is no "manual" way I can correct the aspect ratio in the overlay?
