Install Plug and play Tuniing kit

Post by Henry_Au »

Hi guys,

I have just installed a Phase one plug and play kit improving boy Kws and Torque. Do I need to change anything in my car data apart from these two? I am assuming gear ration is fixed and can not be changed correct?

Thanks in advance,
Henry

If by tuning kit, you mean something like a cold air intake and a reflashed ECU, the Laptimer program doesn't care. The same data still is still available at the OBDII port.

No by hacking the ECU. Lifting power about 65 kw and tourque about 90 n more. I need to enter the new details to laptimer right.

Can't hurt, but I'm not sure it's necessary. Nitpicking: power is kW and torque is Nm.
