Overlay Options

Post by mountainshinobi »

Is there a place where I can further select/unselect exactly what icons/info go onto the video overlay?

For instance, what if I want to take away the G meter, or the lean angle meter, or the track map icon, or add something else...

Is there a place I can do this within the Laptimer?

It seems the only options at present are timing, speed, countdown, POI alerts, and video overlay options.

Regards.

This has been discussed in the Feature Request section already. Currently, I do not provide full customising for overlays. The options available on the second page (iOS) or in the bottom of Overlay Configuration (Android) are the only tweaks available.

Harry,

Thanks for the personal response Harry.

I'm sure it gets annoying seeing or answering the same questions as I'm sure it was discussed before, but most newbies to a forum can't be pilfering through hundreds if not thousands of forum posts to find their answer, hence why we ask on the forum, so someone within the community can post a response much quicker and more directly. I didn't see much of anything on the matter within the documentation and if the documentation said what you said about not adding customization options, my answer would have been solved prior.

It would be a cool feature to add. If not, might be a good idea to add those words of not being able to customize it into the documentation. For the time you spend answering this question over and over, you could probably just update the documentation and save yourself the wasted time or headache on minions like myself.

;)
