Galaxy and Gopoint

Post by DJones2 »

I apologize if this topic has been discussed but I could not locate any help.
I am trying connect my Samsung Galaxy S4 running HLT Grand Prix to my GoPoint OBD
HLT sees the device and will connect but within 10 seconds disconnects from the device and shows device is unavailable.
thanks for your help

Please check this post: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2990#p15277
Update your BT1 firmware first. In case this doesn't help, disable the battery level request 0720.

Harry
Thanks for getting back to me, I tried the recommended settings with the same result.
I did not try changing the following (Enable both BT1 requests and Auto Exclude PIDs, or just try each separate option)
I will give that a try tomorrow.
Thanks again

O.k., so there is some other issues with the PID replies. You need to follow the instructions to generate a log of the dialog in viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1500 in case you want me to have a deeper look into it.
