I was at Roebling Road this weekend for my first track weekend with the App. On a few of my runs I am not able to overlay the entire session. All the lap information for the session is available under lap list. The video is complete. But in 2 sessions when I go to overlay I get an error. "number of laps available for multi lap overlays reduced due to inconsistent sync points. Please adjust the lap's sync point and agree to adjust the full session". The last few laps are cut off from being able to overlay. The track is one that is uploaded so I am a bit surprised I have an issue with sync points? Is there something I can do to try and fix the sync points to allow me to overlay the entire session of laps?
Thank you,
Kevin
First track weekend- unable to overlay all session laps
Re: First track weekend- unable to overlay all session laps
Hi Kevin,
Please select one lap you can't overlay all other session laps to .hlptrl. Press Export, select .hlptrl and "Session" as the scope and send it to me (Harry@gps-laptimer.de). I will check. The message you receive means there is a gap between two laps not covered by data recordings.

Where you able to look at my email attachments to asses my situation?
Re: First track weekend- unable to overlay all session laps
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, these manual check are always a bit labour intensive. To fix your sync points:
1) remove the video from the initial section (Lap List ‣ 00:27.97 lap ‣ "delete" master video reference; even better: delete this "lap" completely
2) adjust sync point for the 01:44.36 lap from 14:46.19 to 14:46.25
3) adjust sync point for the 01:44.73 lap from 16:30.92 to 16:30.99
The sync point is adjusted as follows (2 + 3): select the video from Video List, scroll to the bottom and select the respective lap to change the sync point. When changing a sync point, you will be asked whether you want LapTimer to adjust all laps or only this lap. For your situation, please select the later (just the lap adjusted).
I will check for reasons this small differences could occur and will try to fix it for LapTimer v20.

Re: First track weekend- unable to overlay all session laps
That worked perfectly. Thank you. How did you come up with the video times to change it too in order to facilitate a proper overlay? I have 3 other video's that have the same lap issues? If you tell me how or where to look for the exact time to put on the other videos I should be able to fix those myself?? or do I need to email you those video files too?

First track weekend- unable to overlay all session laps
I can't repeat an exercise like this, so you need to adjust it yourself or stick with shorter lap sequences...
Sync points for laps of a session are actually easy to find. As the sync point for a lap is the time from start of the video matching the end of the lap, the sync point of lap i+1 is sync point of lap i plus the lap time of lap i+1. Sample: lap 5 has a sync point 03:00.00 in the video, lap 6 is a one minute lap, so lap 6 has a sync point 04:00.00. You can see the row of sync points in the video's details and the row of lap times in lap list. LapTimer accepts 5 hundreds seconds (00:00.05) difference to the expected sync point before complaining.

Re: First track weekend- unable to overlay all session laps
I took a look at the sync times and they match up to the lap times. I moved the sync points up and down a few hundreths in either direction to get it to sync up those laps but to no avail. Any suggestions?
