Harry,
I am going to an Advanced DE at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Grand Prix Course) in August. Since there is no certified course for this track I started to make and submit one. In doing so I discovered that mutiple changes were made to the road course last year (see attached file) which are not reflected in the map view (see attached file). The satellite images were taken prior to the rework of the course and do not reflect the current track. Is there anyway I can accurately create a course not having access to updated satellite images.
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Track creation problem (Indy, Grand Prix Course)
The rect oval course is available already. To create a configuration for the road course, we can start by simply defining the configuration with the position of start / finish and maybe 3 split triggers positioned in the (unchanged) straights. Once you have recorded a lap and sent it to us, we can add corner named. LapTimer uses corner names for overlay display only, only the named triggers are necessary.
Besides the link to this thread, please send a short description of the configuration (similar to the existing one for the oval), plus an overall distance if you have one to Tracks@gps-laptimer.de

Will do. If it won't create a problem for you, I will go ahead and create all the corner names as well as the triggers in the straights. That way once the lap is recorded all that will be required is to adjust the new turns to their correct location. Thanks for the advice and the quick reply.
