Using GoPro on Android

Post by Peter987 »

I just got the GP edition. Very useful app. I am trying to set up my GoPro with a Galaxy S6. I am practicing on the public road for my track days next week. I am not sure of the exact procedure. I have wi-fi connectivity with the phone. When I press 'Race' and then the video button, I hear the GoPro beep and I see video from the phone's camera. I also see a GoPro icon on the screen. How do I ensure that the GoPro video is being recorded? Can someone provide the steps to take to start up the race (which buttons to use)?

Thanks!

So far it sound things are fine. Every change in settings or cam status (recording on / off) is confirmed by a beep. While in Video View with the GoPro PiP visible, just drive. LapTimer will start to record data, internal cam and external cam as soon as you pass the starting line.

Thanks. Looks like it worked. I needed to pass the starting point from the correct direction. Now I need to read the doc about joining the data and video!
