HLT and GoPro 4 Silver - HLT Changes Resolution

Post by Puddin15 »

I've used HLT for quite a while now but never with video. I just picked up a GoPro 4 Silver and had no problem getting the camera to connect with the HLT app (Android, Galaxy S6). What I am noticing is that when the camera connects with HLT, the settings on the camera change from 1080P superview and wide angle to 1080P and medium angle. I can change the settings back to 1080/wide angle on the came after I'm connected with HLT, but I'm curious as to why the settings change when I first connect with the app?

As a side note, I tried to change the internal cam resolution setting in the HLT app which did nothing to stop the camera settings from changing. I actually noted that anytime I changed the internal cam resolution setting while the camera was connected, it would revert the GoPro back to the 1080P and medium setting. Thanks for the help.

Please check the MultiCam Preset setting. When set to Master, the ext cam is set to what LT considers best for Master. None keeps the cam's setting.
