difficulty Overlaying data in an iphone 5

I have an iphone 5. when i overlay my data onto the video, the final product is individual laps with data. I have been able to save the entire session as one continuous video without data. But for some reason when i overlay the data onto a multi lamp session, the end product is 10 individual videos with data (or the # of lamps in that session).
What am i doing wrong?

When selecting an individual lap from Lap List and starting the overlay (pressing the Overlay button), you will see the Overlay Configuratuon screen. Extend the range of laps here to get a multi lap overlay.
