Export overlay as standalone video file

Post by treynor »

Greetings!

First, fantastic to see the Laptimer come to Android. I apologize that my first posting on this board is to ask for even more.

I have had some challenges creating an overlay for video recorded on a GoPro 4. It would however be very easy to add an overlay to the video in a video editor on my PC. If it were possible to simply export the overlay graphics for a lap -- without the lap being associated with a video file -- I could combine the overlay, lap video, and audio externally?

Thank you!

Welcome Ben.

Search is your friend here on the forum ;-) , try "bluebox" to find the thread. Here is a working option: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=466#p7002

Ah so! Thanks Harry; I looked for overlay and export before posting, and missed the "bluebox" thread. Apologies.
