Hi! I have a Gopoint BT1(A) in my Lotus Exige. I use LapTimer GP with an iPad Mini (last version of iOS). I've defined the Exige in vehicles. When I start Laptimer it connects to the Gopoint, and I get a message asking if I want to link the vehicle detected by the ODB to an existing vehicle, which I accept. Laptimer then immediately exits (crashes I guess) at this point.
I've tried to restart the iPad to no avail. Anything I can do about this?

Re: Exits abruptly when linking ODB-registered car to existi
Hi,
I'd be interested to get the crash logs for this. Can you please check viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1115 and send the, to me? Can you please give me the precise sequence of starting LapTimer / connecting the BT1? Is LapTimer active in background when you connect the BT1? Does it happen both when starting LapTimer after the BT1 has been connected etc. This area is pretty timing sensible, that's the reason I ask for the detail.
There is a workaround available: with the BT1 not connected, start LapTimer and return to your Exige definition. Press "Edit" and "Add VIN". Enter the 17 digit vehicle identification number of your car. Once this is done, LapTimer will automatically link the OBD connection to your Lotus.

I'll run a couple of test this evening.

I've just sent the crashlogs to you. The BT1 is already connected when I start Laptimer. I forgot to test with Laptimer started first, would you like me to do that?

I will check the logs tomorrow and come back if I cannot reproduce the issue. Thx
