Importing raw VBO to HLT

Post by bulls23 »

Is it possible to import a raw VBO file with not start, finish and splitt POIs to Laptimer and then assign it to a track so I can recalculate all of those triggers. I thought that was part of the last update. When I try to open a VBO from an email I get an error the file can't be used with the App. Am I missing something?

For VBO imports, any trigger / gate definitions in the file are ignored. Instead, LapTimer defined track sets are used. The only data used is the one in the [data] section plus the column definitions in [headers]. To make LapTimer recognize laps in the VBO import it is necessary to have GPS data available before and behind the start trigger to start a lap and GPS data before and behind the stop trigger to complete the lap. In case the GPS data provided does not cover the full lap (in LapTimer's PoV), it will return 0 laps and the named warning is raised. Usually you need to import a complete session to allow LapTimer to recognize laps.

Ok, so something like a single Nordschleife BTG lap with different start and finish points will not work as long as it's not part of a multi lap session.

In case you start logging in the pits and stop it once you passed Gantry, it will work. In case the lap is incomplete - it will not.
