Could you please either add one decimal place to the Average Speed in the Speedo View or add the option to select one additional decimal place for the Average Speed. (Just like the GPS has the option of 0.0 in the Fix Time.)
Currently the average might show 60 MPH, but the rally events I am in, require accuracy of 60.3 or 60.2, etc....
Thank you

Speedo View - Add a decimal place to the Average Speed
Re: Speedo View - Add a decimal place to the Average Speed
Hi,
That's not a big deal to add but I'm not sure this is generating "pseudo-accuracy". Average speed is calculated from time and distance driven. The later is not very accurate and so accuracy for average speed is not better than 1 mph in the usual speed range for regularity races.

Re: Speedo View - Add a decimal place to the Average Speed
The course is over 30 miles long. We use the average speed to make sure we are close to our target time as the goal is to hit an average speed for the length of the course. Once we get within a few miles of the end we must use other tools to get more accurate than the average speed from a gps will tell us, but the average is very useful up to that point and going out one decimal is essential.
Thanks a lot Harry.

Re: Speedo View - Add a decimal place to the Average Speed
O.k., next version will show in 0.1 precision as long as the average speed is not 3 digit (or more). This mean you will see 60.0 mph, but not 101.0 mph. The later will show up as 101 mph as the gadget does not have enough space for more.

Re: Speedo View - Add a decimal place to the Average Speed
Oh, that won't work as the speed classes go up to 120 mph average. So, if you are shooting for 105, you would need to be able to see 104.8 vs 105.2. Both average to 105, but it is important to know how close you are either way, plus or minus.
Are you sure you can't fit 105.3? Could the "mph" be moved up beside the "Avg" to read "Avg mph"? Just a thought.
Thanks
Ryan
