Android Petrolhead - problem with Maps & OBDII

Post by vxrtom »

Hi, I'm using Harry's Lap Timer (Petrolhead edition) with my HTC One (M8) and am having a problem with the Maps view.

When I go to 'Map' it never loads - even with clear GPS signal as verified by the app and with good data connection (even with strong Wifi signal outside my house). I am only using internal GPS, as I don't have an external GPS device.

I'm trying to create a custom route/trigger points for my drive to/from work - but this relied on me being able to define the points on the map (which doesn't load). All I get is a grey screen.

Also, I am using this OBDII sensor: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B ... UTF8&psc=1 which connects and works perfectly with Torque Pro - but does not get recognised by Harry's Lap Timer - is it supported?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

The map topic has been reported today morning by another user and is fixed already. It will go into 18.0.8

On the OBD: yes and no :-) the dongle will probably work but is not recommended from my side (Chinese copy). Nevertheless, you may create a log as described in the Accessories / OBD / Debugging OBD Connections

Thanks for the super quick and informed reply Harry, as always.
