Re: I particularly want to be able to compare lap/sectors
You can use the Circuit Tools application from RaceLogic (free download, use Mr. Google to find). Harry's Laptimer can output the VBO format required. If you want to add the side-by-side video comparison capability, you can use the free tools available here: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php...

Re: Amateur 6H endurance racing
Have a look at the RaceCapture stuff (https://www.autosportlabs.com/).
It may have what you want ... and you can use it with Harry's LapTimer.

Re: Dual xGPS160 Android Connection Issues
FWIW, I've used a couple of these with iOS phones for years and they've both been "flakey" ... one day the BT connection will work fine and the next day I constantly have to fight with it, including: - disable/re-enable BT on iOS (and re-pair) - turn off/on XGPS160 - reboot iPhone - any co...

Re: CSV export crashes the app, but .vbo works fine
Another option is a RaceCapture unit. Some, though more expensive, have the ability to record telemetry data to an SD card (in CSV format), to interface with external sensors/devices and to run lua scripts to do custom things, so it's easy to use with things like RaceRender. RaceCapture's IMU and hi...

Re: LapTimer Pairing with Someone Else's RaceBox
Thanks, Harry. I'd ended my exploration of the "Accessory Tweaks" section of the "Expert Settings" with only "Use Mfi Accessories" enabled and all others disabled and with no entry in the "Use Sensors Containing Name" setting. Good to hear that will require de...

Re: LapTimer Pairing with Someone Else's RaceBox
Silly me, on the "Sensor List" screen, I'd tried tap, double/triple-tap and swipes but didn't try a long press. Thanks for your explanation. My gut-level feeling says that Bluetooth LE poses security risks in various scenarios, but that's not the topic, here. After trying dozens of setting...

LapTimer Pairing with Someone Else's RaceBox
I use LapTimer GrandPrix v24.6.3 on an (old) iPhone 4S running iOS 9.3.6 with a Dual XGPS160 to capture lap times only (i.e., no video, no OBD). It's there for redundancy and so I can view the lap times during the event, the primary being a RaceCapture Pro recording to SD card (I find the RaceCaptur...

Re: Ram X-Mount
I've used a little stick-on velcro with success (on center piece and back of device).

Re: Analysing Data
I just posted about a script/tool that will allow you to "link" a video (i.e., add the data) to a .vbo file so it'll be shown in Circuit Tools:
