I particularly want to be able to compare lap/sectors

Help on issues you run into with LapTimer; in case you have a question on how to use LapTimer, use the forum "Using LapTimer" instead

I particularly want to be able to compare lap/sectors

Post by ramiroflores »

Hi everybody,

I'm new to the new GPS I have a question about Harry's Lap Timer app, it collects a lot of damn data but I can't figure out how to do much analysis (I particularly want to be able to compare lap/sectors) . I couldn't find anything of much help in terms of instructions, manuals, any support documents.

I've been on other forums and asked questions there (and gotten some answers) and watched QuickStart videos on YouTube, but I really wanted a manual that explained everything.

Thank you!

That would probably be the first app ever explaining everything in a manual. :-) All documentation available is listed here: http://www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation You may want to try the Train the Trainer document and the section on "Help users to read their data" (or similar). It includes some hints on the charts available.

You can use the Circuit Tools application from RaceLogic (free download, use Mr. Google to find). Harry's Laptimer can output the VBO format required. If you want to add the side-by-side video comparison capability, you can use the free tools available here:
