I created a new track but it does not show up in the track list. However, when I load another configuration of this track it says it conflicts with the new track I can’t find.
I’m at a track and I can’t get any configuration to trigger.
Harry, I don't understand any of this, I'm just a naive reporter of the facts. The season hasn't started so all I can do is run these experiments in my SUV on the street. Turning stabilization OFF in HLT reduces the shaking but it is still not as stable as the camera app. W/ the app the world in fro...
" use front camera " But then you can't monitor lap times, etc. - kinda defeats the purpose. Might as well have a dedicated camera. Harry, if the problem is w/ the stabilization in the phone, why is it that that videos are perfect when using the phone only w/ no HLT? Seems like it is going...
I have HLT set as usual and it’s showing good gps but nothing happens when I pass start/finish. It never starts timing.
Even if I manually start and then walk past start/ finish nothing happens.
I am at the track now and need help ASAP!
I just got an iPhone 11 and was really disappointed in the in-car video quality - too shaky to watch. This was w/ the same RAM windshield mount that I used w/ my old iPhone 5S that made nice and clean videos. I tried it just w/ the phone video and it is perfect. Back on LapTimer and it is shaky agai...
Thanks for the response, Harry. BTW I've always used HLT on this phone and it used to work better. Although the signal strength is in the middle of the green and shows green in Status, the Accuracy is 32'. The reading on the Timer page is L:8% M:32 [+/-] MB Q: 60-80/5/0 Same outside as in the house.
Of late I am just getting too much error to continue using this app w/ my old iPhone 5S. On the fly the indicated speeds are way off and lag behind too much. Periodic missing of start/finish, even if I walk past it. I just went outside into an open area w/ phone in hand and I get a red "Accurac...
This is true even for successive laps? I.e. the camera is running nonstop and never starts or stops. So which time is the accurate one? I assume the start and stop delays cancel each other out? So, essentially the finish line is moved back the distance = to the delay?
On the Laptimer Integration page for a lap I noticed that it says the lap ends at 1:41.14 but the recorded lap time is 1:42.41. When I scroll through the video it does look like the finish line is closer to 1:41.14. What gives?
So, I've read the various posts re ext. mic w/ iPhone 4s but has anyone done it w/ a 5S yet? If anyone has had good results w/ an ext. mic please list exactly everything you used and how it was connected. Me want exhaust sound! Thanks.
