Re: Use volume up/down to trigger video start/stop
I just noticed that with the new update for the app "camera awesome", that they report that "return of the volume shutter button". Maybe you can quickly revisit the topic with apple, as they are obviously allowing apps to use the volume trigger. And just to note, apple hasn't cha...

Re: Use volume up/down to trigger video start/stop
Yeah, I understand (but don't necessarily agree with apple's) view. Thanks for your time to respond.

Re: Use volume up/down to trigger video start/stop
Harry, not to say that you are wrong, but it appears that for the app "video camera+", they do use the volume buttons to trigger recording. Maybe the developer for that app can shed some light?

Use volume up/down to trigger video start/stop
Similar to how the + volume button allows pics/vids to be taken in the built-in camera app, I would like to be able to use the +(or -) button to be used to start and stop video recording when in video mode. The reason why I would like this, is when I mount the iphone on my headrest mount and want to...

Re: Lateral/longitudinal data incorrect?
Thanks, I understand and will verify my next track day. I assume I am an outlier and most others never need to manually force a reset of the auto-calibration? On an unrelated note, I saw in other threads where you mentioned that phone calls should be suppressed by the app or at least not interfere w...

Re: Lateral/longitudinal data incorrect?
Harry, Good to know that I can apply a reset but it seems only partially useful. Obviously, I will not be able to force a reset if I am in the middle of a lapping session nor would I then be able to confirm the calibration is good. Does the auto-calibration only happen while on track? Or could I som...

Re: Lateral/longitudinal data incorrect?
And what if the calibration is wrong? I thought the software auto-calibrates while on track, so if it is wrong can I fix it? Can I force a manual calibration and have it hold while on track?

Re: Lateral/longitudinal data incorrect?
Harry, I agree that the calibration must not be right. I've read a few posts where you address that, but I don't see how I have any control over it. Within the acceleration mode, I see that step 3 is driving/braking in a straight line. You mentioned that this can only be done on track, and if I unde...
