Re: GoPoint BT1 and BMWs
Oh damn....I just had mine sent to me where I am currently based in Cyprus to use on my 2008 Sigma (Ford engine) Caterham 7. I have the exact same problem as described above - it flashes red for a bit then goes solid, then flashes for a bit but never connects. I have seen post on Caterham forums tha...

Re: Timing and Speed problems
I will move the start finish point and give it a go next time I am at the track to see if it makes a difference. I should be up there in the next week or so and will give it a try. Hopefully that will solve the timing problem, I will make sure I post back on here when I get back. Thanks for the help.

Re: Timing and Speed problems
Harry, Thanks for replying. Below are two laps, one is a 1.40.88 according to the track timing but is a 1.41.82 in Laptimer. The lap is longer in time as there was a spin, but it would not effect the gap. Having gone through the times with more detail, it more normal to be between 0.1 to 0.5 differe...

Timing and Speed problems
I went to a track today that gives you with timing beacons to put on your car and at the end of which they give you a print out of the laptimes. I fully expected there to be some discrepancies when compared with those records in Laptimer, but I was amazed at just how big they were. Its very strange ...

Re: Timer display
I have had the same problem on my last two trackdays, same setup (dual xps) in an open top car. The timer was set to best, but it just counts down from the total laptime. I had mine set to best, but each time I went faster the problem remained.

[SOLVED] Speed is not recording correctly
This is a brilliant piece of software and I am finding it very useful at the track. I am having a small problem though with the speed recording. I am currently using an Ipod touch with Dual GPS running at 5hz, but when I look at the data in the video overlay or in any other programme that reads the ...

Re: Video Overlay to Green/Bluescreen
Thanks for the rapid answer. On a totally unrelated topic, but it still is a feature request, it would be really useful to have a very basic delta screen for when running on track with maybe just a big Red/Green marker for slower/faster, a single large font time difference and then the laptime flash...

Video Overlay to Green/Bluescreen
I use my Mac to edit my videos in 1080p and would love to be able to export the video overlays from Laptimer in a format that I can use to overlay in iMovie. I have tried creating my own greenscreen background to for laptimer to overlay the graphics onto with the intention of then using that video i...
