Hey guys and Harry,

I just upgraded to the 21st century with my first smarty iphone and stumbled upon this app. I am a self proclaimed adrenaline junky however car racing is a bit too expensive for my blood. I mainly ride Down Hill mountain bikes, Motorcycles and Drift trikes. I record and make little edits of all my activities and I am hoping to be able to use HLT and RaceRender to overlay MPH, g forces and elevation over the videos to set them apart. I have a big day of drift triking tomorrow and I hope HLT will be up to the task!

here are some of the videos ive made befor using a gopro

Thanks! they are cheap to build too... you can make one for under $200 USD. I just finished reading all the materal online and wow that is alot to digest! Is there a more detailed guide to creating a "track"? I created a simple "go" , "stop" points for my way home that ill test. Is there a proper way to deal with turns?

A guide is available here: http://www.gps-laptimer.de/Tracks.html
For your purpose, I'd assume it is enough to have a start and stop trigger. Turns are nice in case they are something you will discuss with your friends and can identify them by a name or so. They are not needed however, LapTimer records the plot you drive so start and stop is enough. In addition, please make sure you have set LapTimer's "Allow Low Speeds" Expert Settings. Otherwise, it will not trigger at low speeds - had this issue with soap box derbies.

Thank you very much! I did a test run on my lunch brake and it seems to work pretty good in my car... I'm getting pretty excited for tomorrow!
