I have just returned from a trackday event, where I have tried Harry LapTimer 13.4 with TomTom car kit. I had no problem getting lap times, but the produced video overlay looks like the video is not synced with the data (and the overlayed gauges and numbers). It looks like the video started recording too late. I mean, after passing the start/go trigger, I takes one or more seconds to start recording. The start/go trigger was set in a kind of fast straight (about 160kmh). Is there a way to resync data and video? Maybe a preview screen with a "Delta" time?

With the current concept of recording videos cut to the lap, LapTimer will always have a gap in the beginning (it takes the iPhone approximately 1s to start recording). This is the reason synchronization is done using the videos end. It is difficult to start front up without manual interaction (which I do not want to add for security reasons) as it is not clear if you will hit a trigger before you have passed it.

Is there a way to add or remove some delta between video and data?

Currently only by manipulating the end of the video (cutting something, adding some black frames). I have a setting planned for v14 to adjust the synchronization for videos / data recoding.

What if you make a trigger to start the video, and one for the laptime? For instance on nürburgring BTG, one trigger to start the video befor the bridge, and the time will start under the bridge. And at the end, the time will stopp at the gate and the video a sec after.
Would that be possible?
