Hello Harry,
I'm using 4.2.1 (quite old I know) iOS on a 3GS, until release 16.5 I had no problem. Now I updated to the latest version, and HLP does not start any more. It loads the intro page, than exit without any error message. I tried to reinstall it with no luck. Is it a know issue, is there any workaround? Or can I somehow revert to 16.0?
Thank you in advance,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Starting with 16.5 LapTimer, it should not be possible to install it on a system below iOS4.3... I just checked the AppStore and it has 4.3 as min requirement set! Just to understand how this can happen - how did you install LapTimer 16.5 / 16.6? From my understanding, both iTunes and you AppStore app should have given you a message it is not possible to load this new version to your iPhone3GS.
Full compatibility roadmap is available here:

Actually I did not raise the requirement to 5.1.1 as documented so far, but next version will have this set as the minimum.
Beside understanding how this could happen - you need to upgrade your iPhone now. No way around if you wan't to use LapTimer.

Thank you for your quick answer!
I double checked it, I made a mistake, my iTunes was installing 16.0.5... I upgraded to it at 13/09, by the appstore app. And this is the version which is not running unfortunatelly. Based on the roadmap, it should work (LapTimer v16.0.x -> iOS4.2.1 to latest version, ARM6 and ARM7 devices supported). Can you advise what is wrong?
Daniel

O.k. I understand. So you missed version 16.0.6 which fixed some compatibility issues for pre iOS5 devices... As it is not possible to distribute old versions (AppStore allows only one version - which needs to be the latest), I have no way to turn back the time. As the 3GS can be updated up to iOS6, this remains the only way to get LT up and running again. Sorry for any inconvenience.
