LapTimer On karting

Hello everyone.
I've tried to fix the iphone on the steering wheel of a karting this friday. It was not well fixed, i've used an armband , but too long for the steering wheel , so the iphone was always moving. So , the G forces was not well determined. Do you think that's why the chronoS was not good ?
Moreover, if I find a good solution (do you have some ?) for fixing the iphone on the steering wheel, is the chrono can be precise even if the G forces are disturbed ? Maybe it can with a dual xgps 150 ?
Last question , is it necessary to put informations POIs (for turn) ? or is it just for the user ?
Thank you
