It would be useful to have the option to record video while displaying the gauges.
Currently, video recording can't be done as an additional function of 'learning' mode which requires having the gauges displayed.

Yes, thats on my list already. The roadmap is to add landscape gauge views in v16 (landscape is a prerequisite for video recording), and 'background video recording' in v17.
