Trouble with Android and OBDLink LX

Post by gremlin »

I have an android head unit in a car and I'm trying to run it to get data with an OBDLink LX adapter.

The deck is paired to the adapter in its bluetooth menu but when I run Harry's Rookie Edition V25.0.2 and look at sensors I don't see that sensor as one of the ones in. the "All" list. I see OBD Link SX/EX but not LX. Is there something I'm doing wrong that it doesn't show that particular sensor?

Hello,

For the Android version, you add standard BT SPP OBD sensors using the Bluetooth+ icon in Sensor List: navigate to Sensor List and press the BT icon in the top right. LapTimer will show a list of paired BT devices - it should include your LX. Select it and tell LapTimer to handle it as an OBD device.

This is a one time action.
