Help on issues you run into with LapTimer; in case you have a question on how to use LapTimer, use the forum "Using LapTimer" instead

ipad video export / start point auto rotates

Post by cars4enjoying »

If you select the video export option or edit, to set the start point, it rotates the iPad view into portrait mode making the interface small and fiddly especially when trying to set the right start point.

Is there a way to stop this?

Can you please add details on how the iPad is oriented, from which view you come and which action is taken to make the iPad rotate the screen to landscape. LapTimer provides many dialogs in both portrait and landscape. Some are limited to portrait or landscape only. In case the physical orientation doesn't match, it may look odd.

iPad starts off in landscape mode, horizontal, mounted in its keyboard dock. When edit is selected it switches to portrait mode with most of the screen taken by filters on the left and making the video and video navigation bar using under 1/2 of screen space
