Missing GPS data after changing Storage Rate

Post by KAZUNA »

Could changing Storage Rate in GPS TWEAKS from GPS Rate to 10 Hz possibly cause missing GPS data occasionally?

I have never had any issues with iPhone GPS until I got an OBD adapter and I changed Storage Rate to 10 Hz in order to obtain the OBD data more frequently than the GPS rate (1 Hz).

Since I changed Storage Rate to 10 Hz, I started experiencing HLT to miss GPS data occasionally (e.g. once a day or two).

That should not be related. In case you lose data recordings (i.e. the lap is listed, but you see no details), this usually means there has been an issue with the database. You can try to return to an older copy in LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Databases and check whether the data has been present before.
