O.k. these are both BT SPP devices that need to be added using the BT+ button. I understand the app crashes when tapping it. Please let me know how you got the dialog "Bluetooth Verbindung wurde für LapTimer abgelehnt..." before?

Every time I start the app the BT warning message is shown!

Looks like this is a Samsung speciality (again). I have updated a Google Pixel to 13 and see no unexpected behavior. Neither do I get the Bluetooth alert on startup, nor does the app crash when pressing BT+. Instead, I get the list of paired BT devices listed and can select / connect afterwards.

Please make sure you have set the option to share app data with developers. This will submit crash logs I can investigate. You may want to force multiple crashes to make sure it is listed in the top. :-)

Please check:

Android Settings ‣ Apps ‣ LapTimer ‣ Permissions ‣ three dots in the top right ‣ All permissions ‣ Nearby devices

What do you see here, are "connect to paired BT devices" and "discover and pair nearby BT devices" listed? Going back one level, is the permission "Nearby devices permission" set to "Allow"?

Yes, this permission was always given. For testing I anyway allowed once all permissions, but made no difference.

Where is this option to share app data with devs?

Thanks! Ok, done. I forced multiple crashes again. Do you see them?
