Using the lap timer on a mountain road

Post by dkoch0452 »

Since this not a track or an autocross. It's just a favorite mountain road, I can't figure out how to use lap timer to record any video. Can it?

The AX assistant can be used by setting the start and / or finish in an arbitrary position first. Once this is done, use LapTimer ‣ Analysis ‣ Realtime ‣ Map to drag both to the correct position. Long press the trigger before moving, you will drag the map otherwise.

As an alternative, turn Manual Timing on in LapTimer's Settings. This will give you the classic Start / Stop buttons in Timer View. It is a pure manual recording mode. It is often better that fiddling with tracks sets for these "one time tracks".
