G meter miss reading

Post by Mike S2k »

Hi is it possible to adjust the gmeter after the recording. I noticed that the g meter over reads on right hand corners. I was using a XGPS160.
Please see video.
Thank you!

Yes. Please select the lap from Lap List and follow Data Recordings / Charts. Swipe to the G-G diagram. Use the blue buttons to rotate acceleration vectors as required.

Thank you for the quick reply. I had a look and found the data charts you mean however it looks complicated and I don’t want to mess anything up as it’s my best lap.
Thanks

All of this functions are non-destructive, so you can play with them. Or post a screenshot here, and I will tell you what to do. You will need the rotation functions in the bottom. The one marked with an A will auto-rotate.

Thanks, had another quick look. If I was to press the auto rotate once would that fix it?

In case the acceleration vector is slightly rotated (like you your video) - yes.
