Motorcycle mount

I have been trying to convince my brother to use Harry's on his racing motorcycle. He and the scrutineers are pretty anal about having things attached and secure. Any viable options?
In case an external GPS is used, the smartphone can be placed in a secure place. Eg under the seat. One needs to make sure the smartphone / LapTimer is active. To get valid acceleration / lean data, orientation needs to be like shown for motorcycles (illustration #4 of Quick Reference). But that’s optional as acceleration can be calculated from GPS too. Finally, the GPS mouse should be taped to the bike’s tail - certainly outside.
