Hi Harry,

I recently started finding that the overlay process would crash randomly.

Phone: Huawei P30 Pro
Laptimer Grand Prix Edition V23.0.5 Jul30 2019
Video size 700mb

The length of the video doesn't seem to matter, for example, it took 10 attempts for the app to overlay a 3 min lap of Spa. I'm currently trying to overlay a 9 min video from the Nurburgring, but the furthest it has got is 71% before crashing. I tried closing all other apps while it's running, switching on aeroplane mode, turning off WiFi, using a different video, ensuring the phone is charging, but I haven't been able to get it to successfully overlay.

Any ideas?

Hello,

The hardware supported overlaying may be not fully compatible with your phone. in case it crashes, please switch to software encoding in LapTimer’s Expert Settings. It is slower, but produces higher quality (but larger) videos.
