Removed OBD Speed PID - GPS is ignored

Hi Harry,

I removed the OBD speed as I rely on my GPS and do not need the extra data. It seems the values are set to 0 instead of dropping the Channel. With overlay the GPS Data is ignored, everything is fine but 0km/h throughout.

I will remove the PID exclusion for now. Can I somehow rescue my overlay? GPS Data is shown in the diagrams. Can I drop OBD Data completely?

Thanks

Michael

Hi,

You can ignore OBD data in overlays using the OBD selection in Overlay Configuration. It is on the second page of this dialog.

As an alternative, there is a Force Overlay GPS Speeds settting in the Experts Settings screen. This allows you to show OBD data but use GPS speed instead of zero wheel speeds.

Forcing GPS Speed in advanced settings worked like a charme!

In Overlay, there is a graphical glitch regarding OBD-Data:

I think you can still trigger it, but the button is not visible.

I attached the screenshot, there is no switch next to the OBD-Data option.

Yes, the OBD title qualifies the three selections below. Should probably have less space between title and selector...

I see “Keine”, “Standard”, “Erweitert”.

Ahh, my bad - due to the spacing I assumed this was some kind of page-flip between different settings I stored (regarding the whole overlay, not just OBD).
