How do I get the Guide Screen to appear? Whenever I restart HLT, it opens to the Home Screen.

What do you mean by Guide screen? There has been something like this 5 years ago, but I doubt you referencing this one? Whenever LapTimer is started from scratch - or when it has been in background for an extended time, it will prompt you with the startup splash screen. That's by design.

Actually, it is the old guide screen. I remember seeing it from when I first started using HLT! and it is still featured prominently on your ScreenFlow.pptx
