Hi Harry, I just downloaded Harrys Laptimer Pro. I have an Iphone 4s. I like the Verizon suction cup mount better than the tom tom for the phone. Do I need to purchase some type of gps or other device for this to work in my race car or will your program work with just the iphone?
Thanks

Nope, nothing extra is required, the iphone 4 and Harrys Lap timer will get you going.
If you want you can add an external GPS to improve the data rate from 1 to 5 Hz and an wireless OBDII sender to capture some engine data.
I'm sure Harry will be along shortly to expand.

For GPS I use the XGPS150, the benefit to this is that it connects by bluetooth, so you do not have to have it tied to the iphone and can mount it anywhere and have the iphone secure in the glovebox or elsewhere. (If not recording video.)
I think the Emprum Ultimate GPS connects via the port on the bottom of the iphone, so needs to be clipped in or use an extension cable. Need to check on that. Check the accessories thread.
OBDII I don't use as my car is too old, so cannot make any recommendations apart from checking the accessories thread.
