Harry's GPS Suite Forum

I have Emprum GSP . Harry's Lap Timer show it as connected when I video record but in Optrix Video Pro this is not availalbe (or not shown) . Is that normal not to work with Optrix ?

Hi,

Compared to LapTimer, VideoPro is designed for the 'non-specialized' user. This is the reason I didn't add sophisticated things like direct external GPS access. Today, if you add a certified external GPS, it is simply used by iOS and replaces the internal GPS source. To LapTimer it will appear in the same way as the internal GPS and will be reported as this. I can add the feature in VideoPro v15 in case there is demand.

for fast recording on road (highway and city driving - SO NO LAPTIMING) I prefer to use Optrix instead of Harry's Laptimer (no laps on the streets ). So please consider my request to allow Emrprum UltiMate GPS to work with Optrix.
