Dual xgps 160 early battery demise

I have an 18 month old xgps 16. The battery would no longer hold a charge after about 15 track days. So about 5 months ago I bought another one and after about 5 track days it runs out of juice after about an hour. I am on a motorcycle so it is not convenient to keep it plugged in. Dual will not answer contact requests. Does anyone else have this problem? Battery life is advertised at 10 hours. Better yet, who makes a more suitable unit?
