1) Select Race from main menu
2) Start Timer
3) Select Video, iPhone cam, preview
4) Manual Start of Recording using red button in center

5) Recording indicator on on top left, Green button in center is visible to stop recording
5) crossing start line starts new round and recording, Recording indicator on on top left, center buttons change to Green stop and x Cancel
6) crossing finish line saves lap and recording

Issues:
7) Recording indicator on on top left still active, but no buttons available anymore in center.
8) Video and data recoding of track after finish line is lost after closing video screen and terminating the app.

Yes, this is a known issue when starting video recording manually and track sets with a dedicated stop trigger. Workarounds: do not use mixed mode recording (manual start) with this type of track currently, or change the track set's stop trigger to a stop/go trigger. Ignore the warning on unbalanced triggers.

This issue will be fixed in v21 (Spring 2017).

I've used the 'change the stop trigger to stop/go' method. It works just fine. You just have an extra stub lap to delete if you touch Stop instead of Cancel after crossing the finish line.
