Hi,
Just recently found about (and bought) the app and it seems a great full feature suite. My question to which I haven't found an answer so far:
I have some old data in the form of .VBO files (and the videos that go with them, filmed on GoPro) and I always wanted to merge the video of those sessions with the log data (vbo files) instead of looking at them separately. The sessions are not about some specific tracks, but on other road areas.
So is it possible to manually import the VBO and MP4 file into HLT, sync them and merge them so that the video contains the log data? And which version offers that?
Thanks,
Ringo
Binding old .VBO + MP4 files?
Re: Binding old .VBO + MP4 files?
Yes, that's possible with LapTimer Petrolhead or GrandPrix.
To load laps into LapTimer's database, either load a predefined track or set up your own custom track set first. This will allow LapTimer to split your .vbo file into laps during import. To import the .vbo file, send it to an email account you can read on your smartphone. Touch the .vbo attachment and select LapTimer to import the file. If successful, you will find your laps recorded in LapTimer ‣ Analysis ‣ Lap List.
You can add videos and overlay them too. As this involves several step to transfer, add, and align video and data, please have a look into Video Documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation.
