No sound on video

I tried for the first time today with the LapTimer to record video. It has worked very well however I only have sound for around the first 2-3 seconds and then in goes quiet. I am using an iphone6 with the internal mic, not external.

This will be some issue with the device or with audio BT connections established after these 2 or 3 seconds. Actually LapTimer just triggers a "record" service provided by iOS and is not involved with turning audio on or off. That's different when it comes to overlaying videos, but I understand it occurs for the original video recorded? Things like this can happen if hardware runs into some exception. Please try again and check if the problem repeats.

To be honest I did not check the video before I did the overlapping so I am unsure if the sound worked continually or not.

There is almost white noise for the rest of the video but only very very faintly so it is not entirely muted.

Hi Harry.

I'm back on track today and I have turned off Bluetooth on my phone. The phone has also never been connected to the car so in theory it does not know it exists.

I am still only getting 3 seconds of audio and then it goes to very low white noise. I have not overlayed, just playing direct from LapTimer app.

No, I think I can't help. Sounds like an issue with the device or configuration.
The only thing you may want to check if you have granted access to the Microphone for LapTimer. This is necessary for iOS and Android since version 6. You find permissions granted in the operating system's Settings app.
