LG G4 Video Problems

Hello,
I bought recently the Grand Prix Edition of the Laptimer.
On Saturday I want to use it at a Trackday.
I created a little test track close to my home.
I did a few laps and used my GoPro3 and the LG G4 Cam.
I tried 720p and 1080p in the LapTimer - Settings for the internal camera.
The Problem that I have is the following:
The Videos that were created with the internal camera only have 15 Frames per Second.
Any Idea what I have to change to make it at least 30 FPS?
Thanks a lot in Advance.
Greetings
Matt

LapTimer selects one for the presets provides by the phone. The frame rate is actually not set explicitly - which means there is no easy workaround. You may follow instructions in
viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1933 to log the video setup. Please select the "Video" trace/log class only and create a log covering everything from selecting the internal cam in Video Operation up to the point you turn it of in the same spot again. Create a short video using the manual start and stop functions in Video Operation ‣ Preview. I will have a look into it and see what can be done. Please add a link to this thread in the log file mail generated.

Hi Harry,
as I am already leaving tonight, I will use "only" the GoPro on the Trackday and will then create a tracefile next week.
But thanks already for your support.

Matt

Hi Harry,
I was on the Trackday and recorded some laps with the GoPro. That worked good.
I am now trying to do the Overlay.
I copied the videos from the GoPro to the LG G4 manually. Selected the video that fits from the time. LapTimer tells me that it referenced it to x laps. Then I am trying to overlay the video with the data from the LapTimer (Export). It starts the process and then at some point it stops working. It doesn´t crash. It just stops (Video Overlay... X% verarbeitet ( xxxBilder)
It doesn´t not depend on the no of Laps that I am trying to overlay. I try 1 lap or 5 or 10 laps. I stops somewhere in the process.
What can I do?
The other problem with the video resolution / frame rate of the internal cam I would prioritze lower and create the tracefile after this Problem is fixed.
Regards,
Matt

That'd difficult to say without access to the phone. Please switch to Software based overlaying - I assume there is a problem with the GoPro video for either the LG G4's decoder or encoder. Force Software encoding in LapTimer's Expert Settings.

Thanks a lot Harry.
The Software encoding did work.
One more question:
The Data Recording (the data shown in the overlay) is a bit ahead of the actual video footage.
Is there another expert setting to correct that maybe?

In case you have added the video manually, you need to adjust the sync point. To do that, select the raw video from Video List and scroll to the bottom were the sync point is shown. Touch the line and adjust it as required.
In case the video has been added automatically, you probably need to adjust the standard delay between lap data and video. My recommendation is to wait for more videos with the same offset before you adjust this setting. Search for "sensor delay" here on the forum to find more information on this.
