Lap timer not picking up start line/poi

Post by gw2522 »

Last race season I was able to use the app for circle track laps - was easy to just create a new track and mark the start finish line, then when I crossed the line it would start timing.

This season, it seems I cannot get any laps timed. I have tried to create the start finish line, then had to set the direction (which was new). Now it seems when I cross the start/finish line, nothing gets triggered.

Also had trouble getting the Dual XGPS160 working, but finally got it synced, then had to go in and set it in the sensor section.

It's almost like its not seeing the auto trigger. If I look at the map, it appears it has the trigger correctly (start/finish line). I have tried to define a few different new tracks, but can never seem to get any laps timed.

You can skip setting the direction, maybe you set it the wrong way? For the XGPS, please try your track definition without external GPS too. In case things do not work, it is good to exchange components to find the one generating issues. There are no known issues with start trigger detection.
